Isaiah 9:2
Prophet Isaiah is prophesying about the coming light, Jesus Christ. This world has been covered in darkness. The people living in it have been blinded by darkness and our hearts have been filled with darkness. But here comes the good news for you and me! Even when we are in the deep darkest place, the light of Jesus can reach you. There is no place in this world where the light of Jesus cannot shine. He came to light up our dark paths. He came to light up our dark lives. No matter how shallow or deep we have sinned against our God, this light has dawned on all of us without discriminating. Let us welcome this light into our lives because it is the only light that leads to salvation. Because of this light, eternity is ours to claim. Hallelujah!
